Accompanied by his wife, Peng Liyuan, Xi was warmly received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his wife. The visit coincides with the celebration of 70 years of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt, a milestone that both countries are eager to commemorate through renewed partnerships.
In a message released prior to his arrival, Xi highlighted the enduring strength of China-Egypt relations, which have withstood shifts in the global landscape.
